Liberate your data from your Siebel CRM system! If your organization has deployed iPads and iPhones to your sales force, this app is a great way to leverage your existing Siebel on-premise investment and increase your field force's productivity.

Unlike software from other vendors, this application does not require any integration components or servers to be set up. Simply configure your existing Object Manager to Standard Interactivity (SI) mode, and provide a channel to access your Siebel server from the iPhone/iPad. See our website for details.

Q) How does RopeFree connect to Siebel?
A) RopeFree connects to the Siebel URL as if it was any regular user. It then takes the data and presents it in the native iPhone UI for a superior end user experience.

Q) What devices are supported?
A) Any Apple device running iOS 5 and later. Namely: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 1 and iPad 2.

Q) Will I have to buy this app for every one of supported devices in my possession?
A) The same purchase allows you to use this app for the iPhone or the iPad.

Q) What is the purpose of RopeFree
A) RopeFree was designed to augment your traditional CRM system. It is not meant to replace it. With the increased computing power of mobile devices and plentiful bandwidth, it makes sense that some traditional CRM functions are provided on the mobile. We firmly believe that we should re-implement all the features of a CRM system on a mobile device. A field user on an iPhone should not be spending 20 minutes trying to enter 5 screens of information. Due to this philosophy, the initial scope of RopeFree will be an application targetted for the iPhone. We may expand into more richer functionality for the iPad form factor later.

Q) How do you enter the server connectivity information?
A) If the URL to your Siebel instance is http://test.abc.com/sales_enu, then                           Server Name = http://test.abc.com                                                                                  Server Directory = sales_enu                                                                                            Make sure to put either http:// or http:// in front, and always end with the trailing slash / on the Server Name.
